Ms. Jaya Joshi is a graduate in psychology with honors, Jaya was under study to Khursheed Merchant since 1986 a leading corporate trainer, recognized by India Today as one of the most innovative coaches in the Corporate World. She joined Khursheed Merchant’s Training company (1986 to 2003) as a Director and Co-Coach and has coached over 15000 people. She marketed KMI Programs in India, creating acceptance of Transformational Workshops, then new to the Corporate world. Her marketing experience also includes working as a Senior Manager-Corporate Relations under the leadership of Nanik Rupani, Chairman of Enkay Telecommunication, also President, Indian Merchants Chamber of Commerce. For past several years she is working under her own name in the area of behavioural and attitudinal transformation. At the Corporate level her focus has been empowering individuals to keep up with the fast changing commercial environment and inculcating the entrepreneurial spirit, passion and a sense of ownership at their work place. She is also focused and committed to make available coaching for students in Educational Institutes. She has been a faculty with the Management Institute of Indo German chamber of commerce for the past seven years. When she initiates dialogues from the very inception, she designs the coaching programs for the company, focusing on a measurable value of contribution for their investment of time, energy and resources. This has allowed her to build long term business relationships with companies like Axis bank, HDFC bank, Siemens, ATE Marketing, Bayer, Nicholas Piramals, Perfetti, Wockhardt and several others. Her studies also include with apprenticing with KMI’s International associates: Neil Wragg, Transformational Coach for Youth at Risk in UK, Miki Wallezeck, Corporate Trainer with Transformation Technologies, Germany and UK, Certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming by Fr. Dick McHugh PhD, NLP.

Is the IGTC PGPBA a Degree or Diploma Course?

PGPBA Programme offered by IGTC is a certificate course jointly awarded by the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), Berlin and the Indo‐German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC) recognized by German industry in India and Germany.

How does the IGTC PGPBA compare to a 2 year MBA?

What is the Business Environment Germany?

What are qualifications required for application?

Graduates in any field (B.E./B.Tech./B.Com./B.M.S/B.M.M./B.SC/B.A.) with 0-5 years of work experience and over 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply.

Will I be guaranteed placement after graduation in the same company I intern with?

A placement opportunity with the training company is not a guarantee; but the internship could convert to a pre-placement offer subject to individual training performance and a job opening in the company.

What are the benefits of the German Dual System?

The German Dual System in its purest form, the Dual System simply means ‘Learning by Doing’, it is widely practiced in Germany and several European countries. In IGTC this discipline fosters joint educational responsibility with the collaborating companies. Together, it creates a unique synergy between learning and working that instills the knowledge of business principles and the confidence to innovate and execute.

Can I pay the fees for the programme in installments?

The total fee to the programme is Rs. 4,00,000 plus tax is payable in three installments as follows:
  • First installment: INR 50,000 + taxes (upon admission within 2 weeks)
  • Second installment: INR 1,75,000 + taxes (in June)
  • Third installment: INR 1,75,000 + taxes (in April)

Can I withdraw my candidature?

  • Withdrawal of candidature before the month of June: The Candidates, who have accepted the Offer of Admission, paid the first installment, and later withdrew the admission from the offered Programme (before month of June). Such candidates will be refunded the entire amount paid by them after deducting INR 5,000/- as a processing fee.
  • Withdrawal of candidature before the commencement of Programme (i.e. between the period June to August month): If a candidate withdraws their candidacy before the program begins (i.e., between June and August), having previously accepted the Offer of Admission and paid the installments, a refund will be issued. The refunded amount will be the total paid by the candidate, minus a processing fee of INR 30,000.
  • No refund will be made post the commencement of the programme.

What is the DHBW Master programme?

IGTC is currently holding discussions with Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), Center for Advanced Studies (CAS), Heilbronn to accept PGPBA students from IGTC into their Master’s in Business Management programme. It is intended for those IGTC students who additionally aspire to gain an international experience, a higher education in business and a master’s degree at a renowned German institution. DHBW is one of the largest higher education institutions in the German Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg with 9 DHBW locations & 3 DHBW campuses, catering to approximately 34,000 students and over 9,000 corporate partners across all their Bachelors and master’s programmes.
