Every year, Evonik participates in the IGTC Trainee Selection Process for trainees in the Sales and Marketing department who work on live projects. Sometimes the projects also involve meeting customers which helps them gain practical exposure to business functions. They not only get an opportunity to personally develop themselves but also apply their classroom learning to industry projects. The Business Managers who are their project guides become their Mentors in the long run.
Partnering with IGTC in this process has enabled us to critically examine and judge the trainee’s capabilities, potential and suitability for any of our specific needs before committing employment. We have the successful example of two of the past trainees who were offered full time employment and are currently pursuing their careers in Evonik based in Germany. The association with IGTC has been augmenting every year and we would like to continue the same.
