Dr Stephen D’Silva is currently a Senior Professor at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and a member of the Senate of the University of Mumbai.
He has brought in extensive insights as an educator and ex-Director at JBIMS. He coordinates and conducts modules for the Post Graduation Management course for the Indian Navy at the Naval War College (Goa). He conducts a lot of training programs also for L&T (Mumbai and Dubai), ICICI Bank (Senior management level), Essar Steel and Essar Oil.
With more than 30 years of teaching experience, Dr. Stephen D’Silva has received numerous honors for teaching and has more than 100 research publications in national and international journals to his credit some of which were in Paris, Netherlands, America and Dubai. He has been awarded by the Star Group and Bombay Management Association as the “Best Teacher” as well as “Best Faculty of the Year Award” from AIMS.
Prior to joining academics, he has senior corporate marketing experience of more than 15 years at MRF Ltd, J. K. White Cement Ltd and Mafatlal Industries where he conceptualized new innovative ideas and has been very successful in his turnaround strategies.
His academic credentials are impressive. He is a Management Graduate from the University of Mumbai and holds Doctorate degree in Management. He possesses outstanding communication skills, presents information in a variety of ways emphasising relevance of class materials of the world beyond the classroom.
